adobe cs4 asks me for my license ever day, regardless of whether i provide it. then it offered a 3000+ day trial. every time i launch one of the programs i need to tell it to continue the trial. sometimes it will log me out of creative cloud and make me login again even though it stores my name and password

really hoping they don't just get rid of it in a future version without actually bringing all of the features into the newer one first, but yeah for some reason they put the label "legacy" next to it in the menu exporting as a gif in the new one doesn't even animate it. also lol @ those dark pixels it just scattered in  the end result is supposed to look like this

u can still use save for web, it's the exact same key command and dialog box, there's just a new "export as" feature that looks like it was made in flash and doesn't even support basic photoshop features like click+dragging icons next to field boxes

i just do the odd mucking around in photoshop so i bought photoshop elements when it was on sale because the stripped-down functionality is all i needed, but they don't tell you the UI is a piece of poo poo, i wish they could just have it look exactly the same as the full shebang but with the specific premium features removed. or maybe a good ui is a premium feature, owned.
