 Mount McKinley is being renamed to Denali, the Koyukon Athabascan name for it. It had been named McKinley in 1896, and there's been a movement to restore its original name. There were congressional hearings this year and the National Park Service had no objections to the name change. There's been a motion to rename it every year since the 1970s, Alaskan representatives trying to get it renamed and Ohio (McKinley's home state) representatives blocking it.
