One of the competitors used to drive the ladybug bot in the original series as a kid.

I remember that bot being really bad.

Why would you design a bot without wheels

This bot owns tbh. The disc has a zillion rpm as it stumbles around. I feel like they shoulda named it t-wrekt tho.

During that whole pre-match segment I was just wondering how the hell Wrecks was supposed to move.

I think SJWbot got that round... but what was the point of those minibots? They did gently caress-all.

This show rules. Modern bots are so much more terrifying killing machines. All I can remember is when it used to literally be wedge after wedge just flipping each other over, not bot parts literally shearing off and shooting outwards.

Warhead always looked cool.

^Yeah the rules require some sort of active weapon system. Warhead is the poo poo. But they say its modular? Does that mean mini-bots too?

I'm craving a hot dog pizza. The only problem with Ziggo was that it was in a light or medium weight class instead of heavyweight.

Hahaha, Warhead is getting loving wrecked.

Warhead's cool, but was he really a "legend"? I don't think it ever won it all in the original show.

Stop, stop! [Warhead]'s already dead!

The legend was he was really cool looking. Also wedgebots are lame.

I never thought I'd hear the word suplex in a conversation about robots. Bite Force confirmed as robot Brock Lesnar.

Bite Force is mugging to the crowd... I remember when this sport was about the game not the grandstanding.

Another bot with minibots. Interesting. I'm curious if those'll ever be effective. Were they allowed under the old rules?

Bad nightmares about Nightmare coming back. He was brutal for sure but you'd think after all these years they would have come up with something for if he got tipped over again.
|
# ? Jun 22, 2015 02:55 |

Holy poo poo! That mini bot literally exploded! Nightmare would have won if it had a way to flip itself.

That minibot getting eliminated was pretty cool.

Gonna need a gif of that fire bot getting splattered.

Dang, Nightmare really needed a self-righting mechanism.

Figures as soon as I talked about a lack of wedges owning, a boring-rear end wedge shows up and predictably wrecks poo poo. Sorry, I'm behind on my DVR. By like, a lot. Whoops.

Feel like Nightmare is likely to grab one of the wild-card spots.

Really pleased with the new incarnation of the show overall, though I do wish they had got Marc Biero back. Also glad to see Nightmare is just as loving rad and self-destructive as ever.
