I'm excited to get in on F6 on the ground floor this time. I waited so long to get an Xbox One that F5 never quite had that 'New Car Smell' going on. Everything I've seen so far looks great.

The amount of in game cash they are offering as Rewards for having large garages in the past games is kinda crazy. I'm just not sure I feel like grinding through hours of purchasing cars. It feels like buying a car in Forza 5 takes forever.

I managed to snag one of those ebay $85 dollar deals the other week so am locked in with the Ultimate.

All the new tracks sound great and I'm really excited!. But ... I still don't get how you could leave out Maple Valley ... again. That decision seems nuts to me. Has a long and short version and has a completely different feel when reversed. What a track.

So - the actual link doesn't seem to be working now, but i've seen this same achievement list posted in multiple places. Sorry if it ends up being fake. Fun list for the most part, and I'm happy to see prize spins coming over from FH2 :)

Dear god this is awesome. Thank you Forza gods.

It's amazing hitting a large puddle at speed in this demo. It has to be one of the absolute best translating of 'feel' in almost any game I've played, just via the controller (not even a wheel) and visual feedback. You simultaneously feel the lack of grip and the weird floaty halting of forward momentum that is so specific to that event.

I was kinda bummed that none of the prize spins translate to anything since I nabbed a cool million credits on one go! One week until ultimate launch fest funtimes!

I'd say no since if you restart the career part of the demo you start from scratch again.

Well - I got 30 minutes play in before leaving to stat the longest work day ever. Basically finished the repeat of the demo. All 8 Tiers in rewards and $25 Million transferred over ... hell ... yeah! Thanks Forza Hub.

Ok - someone re-sorted the Gamertag list ... so I give up trying to figure out who I have and haven't added.

Goal is to learn some better nighttime braking points this weekend. Spa in the Dark is goddamn tricky. Hopefully chat is working better so I can apologize properly if I misjudge it :)

Also - Watkins Glen ... wow. I like that track.

Really happy I go to snag the Porsche DLC finally due to the sale!. I'm digging they way they feature the cars and VIR is great fun. I wish I could get the Nascar track a la carte since I have zero interest in the actual Nascar Expansion, but would always love more ribbons.

Also ... Forza Horizon 3 looked loving amazing. For those of you that do love the series ... There is a pretty swell pre-order deal on the MS Store going on. It's $80 for the Ultimate Version and that also includes an additional $10 MS code sent after release as well. One Caveat - I believe Play Anywhere is Digital Only and this is a Physical Disk - so you won't get the option to install and play on your PC. They did announce full Cross-Play for the title in general, so you'd still be able to play with PC players, of course.

https://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/pdp/Forza-Horizon-3-Ultimate-Edition-for-Xbox-One/productID.2553273900?redirect=true

Edit: to be fair. You do lose the F6/FH2 car pack pre-order bonuses that you get from the in-Bone store. Both packs were part of each games respective Car Passes and it seems like it would have been better to add one of the post-Pass packs as the bonus ... but ... MS
-Forza Horizon 2 Rockstar Car Pack (Xbox One)
-Forza Motorsport 6 Meguiar's Car Pack (Xbox One)

One thing with Australia? Does that mean we're getting mostly RHD cars? I really hope not.

I do see some traffic driving on the left in one of the vids, but I wager the cars themselves will continue to be a mixture of right and left hand drive like they are in previous Forza (both Horizon and Motorsport) games - except for the McLaren F1s , of course :) Playground hand waved it off as all these rich assholes ship their cars over to their fist pumping douchey music and car fest etc.

The Wife is working late and my demo is queued [hopefully]. Now I just need to figure a way to leave work early and play this fucker.

Is there anyone that hasn't done the Co-op bucket lists for Horizon 2 (regular game and for storm island) yet? I'm usually around after 10pm PST if any late night cruisers want to bang through them before FH3 drops. Gamertag is Pvax on the bone-live too.

Just unlocked clubs and tried to join. it says not accepting requests and that you can only join via invitation (even though you are on my friends list).

My dream would be that they turn it into a platform for content and let you fly to Colorado or France again and just have MAP overload (kind of like TDU2 let you unlock Hawaii).

The cars look and sound so nice in this engine that i even find myself playing in chase cam every now and then for the audio visual experience alone. I'm normally In-Car or Bonnet ONLY, but the exhaust sounds/backfires/etc just sound so much sweeter from the chase camera.

My only real critique is that I wish I could change my car when creating a Bucket List Blueprint - as I've had some swell ideas, but couldn't be arsed to go run back and swap cars. Also - ?I wish Groove playlist had a DJ that would just give you some random chatter and the ability for Skill songs.

Goon Racing - With the Blueprints feature i think a lot of fun could be had with Asynchronous or Rivals challenges made directly for the Club. we'd just need to look into how hard/easy it is to share. Plus - you guys all race too early in the night anyways :( Ahh - that one or two weeks where FM6 started at 7pm and not 6 ... glorious days. Oh well.

I don't get the complaints about the business model on this release. This game is loving Giant with Days worth of Content. DLC cars are just a staple of any racing game now and if they are doing work on Post Launch expansions ... that is cool. I find hard to complain about cut Content though when there are 350+ cars in a game at launch. VIP is a bit of a stretch, I'll give you that, but i guess i'm just used to it.

Also Groove Music does not require a subscription fee to use a custom playlist in game. You have 5GB free OneDrive space to upload your own music. It still sucks that it removes DJ Skill Songs and has no shuffle. I believe the Horn pack is just an early unlock sorta thing, if I'm not mistaken.
