Edmonton is lowest with 6-12 in 1999. There were probably some teams with 5 wins at some point in the past when they were playing 16 games a season.

I would like to present to you, your 2015 CFL season in review:Dale Ouise posted:The REDBLACKS are first in the East. Get hype. Two games into the season? Well that isn't going to last, right? Burris is ancient, and the REDBLACKS won two games last season. I'm sure they'll end up at the bottom soon enough. Hand Knit posted:So far as I can tell the Argos are the best team in the league and are going to win the Grey Cup lol bunnyofdoom posted:N:CBC power ranking up lol bunnyofdoom posted:N: Saskatchewan is in last, Ottawa is tied for first bunnyofdoom posted:Is any qb gonna survive the season? I mean I guess Reilly could come back and win 10 in a row but what are the odds of that happening? Fuckin' blows. Chilichimp posted:Wait, so in the CFL an on-side player* from the punting team is allowed to recover the punt as well? Life is full of little joys, and posts from NFL fans in CFL threads are one of them. I truly thank all of you for your contributions. Did Henry Burris say he was going to retire or is he going to give it one more go? Secondly funny CFL note: They are now out of space to put nameplates on the current Grey Cup trophy. They either need a fresh Grey Cup for next year or a new championship trophy.

In the NHL they just take a ring off the top and put a blank one on the bottom. The Grey Cup doesn't lend itself to that quite as well, I guess they could just pry off one of the plates and shift everything up.

Is someone going to make a CFL offseason thread? Chris Jones is now the Saskatchewan Roughriders GM/Head Coach
|
# ? Dec 7, 2015 18:13 |

Not really a necessity per se. We can continue talks here until preseason 2016. Interesting on Jones wanting to get a GM position so quickly after just getting a head coaching job. It's gonna backfire completely because that mix always leads to poor talent retention/acquisitions because of a coaching staff bias

doesnt hurt that his salary probably doubles now that he's doing gm and coach

This only applies to coaches who are currently under contract with a CFL Club.

I guess Saskachewan would have had to tamper with Chris Jones to get him over to them that quick? The new commish seems lost so far I'm excited to see Jason Maas coach against Dave Dickenson all year long.

It's huge loving news and I'm guessing it's because they've got legit NFL offers. You don't just let those two go for nothing.

Further research concludes is that high contract demands is the issue. Not a good way to start your GM job not retaining two fan favourites, Jones.

Drunk Canuck posted:Not a good way to start your GM job not retaining two fan favourites, Jones. The man can only pay Chick, Dressler or himself. Which do you choose? In other news, gently caress the Saskatchewan Roughriders, and by extension Chris Jones. Here's hoping for another ruinous SK season!
