This game has recaptured a lot of the great level design and mechanics of Yoshi's Island and the tilt controls for aiming eggs on the Wii remote is really natural and fun The only negative I feel is that the game's soundtrack, while being really good and calm, it doesn't capture the same feelings of adventure that the YI soundtrack did

the designer has gone on record saying difficulty in yoshi wool world is tied to collectables. you can just play through it without trying to find anything but that's the equivalent of setting it to 'extremely easy (for kidz)' its the optional parts that are the true test of skill

The fastest way to complete this is to get 7 levels in, then play the same level over and over for half an hour to grind gems to spend on level skip badges to use for the rest of the game. This level skip hand holding poo poo is getting out of hand.
