Monday Bandele posted:A European-wide salary cap should have been brought into place at the same time as the Bosman ruling, but now you can't put the toothpaste back in the bottle Who do you think should be earning the bulk of the ~£130m per season Premier League clubs will be earning from TV deals in 2016? Socialist nonsense.

Co-owning was a better system for developing players than the hoarding with occasional loans mess everyone else has been using. When Juve, Milan and Inter bought up all the promising players they were still able to play regular first team football for bad teams that both really wanted them, and had a financial stake in their progression. Rampant corruption is an Italy problem, not a co-owning problem. They shouldn't have got rid of it.

Players and clubs should be allowed to play a maximum of one game a week. No Premier League games on at 3pm Saturday. Support your local club.
