I think next episode is going to be the real tipping point. All the character introductions are out of the way, and they're hitting one of the best chapters from the manga. Let's see if they can rise to the challenge.

Maybe it's because I recognized some things would get lost in translation between manga and anime, and I went in knowing it would be good-but-not-as-good-as-the-manga but I honestly haven't been disappointed yet. Or some people have super, super low standards.
