IX is the only main series FF game I have yet to play at all. I heard from a lot of people that it is the best (though VI sits with me as my favorite). I'll be sticking around to read through this, at least until it gets to a point where it gets too awesome that I have to tell myself to stop and play through this game myself, crippling laziness forbidding.
