Just discovered this thread. I'm a little late to the love-in, but this is one of my favorite games of all times, so much so I've always been scared to go back and replay it in case it hasn't held up to my memories. The load times. I don't remember the load times being bad at all -- and the load times in Chrono Cross drove me up the wall. If it really was 36 seconds though . . . I don't know how I'd react to that.
