On top of that, I have yet to see a Military Junta that can maintain it's sovereignty AND initiate a period of relative economic prosperity for any meaningful amount of time. The only exception that comes to mind is Myanmar, but they've gone through 3 or 4 junta's since it's independence, I'm pretty sure. It's almost like an army isn't meant to govern a state...
