McDowell posted:the FEC might actually be looking at the obvious coordination between his broke campaign and the flush superPacs. As a Wisconsin reporter this gives me a raging lede. This rear end in a top hat has skated on campaign finance and campaign ethics laws here in the state since his first governor's race. The state supreme court just finally shut down a john doe investigation into the Wisconsin Club For Growth after pressure from the administration. Please let the Feds get in on this. /please/

homeless poster posted:walker has the charisma of an obese, mental deficient, who is covered in sticky syrup after eating a popsicle on a hot summer day. how the hell did the Koch brothers decide he was going to be their horse in the race? were all of the more competant candidates already bitched up with other billionaires or what? They've gotten their money's worth out of him in the past in Wisconsin. Remember that the Kochs are Georgia Pacific, which has a massive presence in the state because of Wisconsin's lumber resources and paper industry. Also they back Americans for Prosperity which saw a massive spike in Wisconsin simply because they rode the anti-Obama wave in the off season elections, getting Walker elected when the state Democrats were still floundering after the loss of Jim Doyle. The question is, will they still have us for him in Wisconsin? I'm guessing yes. So long as they can keep him in office to make sure Wisconsin stays friendly to their positions, I'm saying we'll see AFP popping up come April.
