It's ok for a grandma to teach her grandchild to cook, but at least make a passing nod at "you can do whatever you want to do, be it a wife or a chef". I could be wrong and the whole thing could flip somehow and the main character could reject traditional gender roles but right now it just feels like "I'm practicing to be a wife, as society intends". jfc, old adtrw was poo poo
