You'll stumble in my footsteps
Norm and Merchant were a bit odd. It was a good show, but I expected a bit more chemistry. Norm's long gag at the end was incredible, however.

I don't know what it was about it, but the whole bit where norm whispered "brexit" into adam egets ear had me in stitches

i've never seen extras or hello ladies, but i assume merchant was acting like he does on his shows. kind of like super dave osborne acting like funkhouser during his episode. merchant mentions listening to some of his older podcasts, even stating that all his guests have been white males save for roseanne. then he sort of snickers when norm asks him if he has ever heard of albert fish.

Steve can do dirty humor but all the child rape and killing the queen humor seemed to be crossing the line for him. I don't think he was offended but he wasn't willing to join in with that so it made things uncomfortable. He is mostly a straight laced guy. But he was good as a foil at least.

I've listened to plenty of his radio shows and podcasts with Ricky Gervais, and I think it's fair to say Merchant is always kinda snarky and commenting on others' jokes rather than making his own jokes per se. Which is not bad when he's comfortable with his counterpart (eg Gervais), but can feel strained when paired with somebody else.

New stuff, probably not, though they do put up clips on their sound cloud account (links are posted to their site's blog, all the time).

Lured into the van with promises of poutine and canadian tire money he later became angry at himself for not holding out for a bag of milk as well.

I think I enjoyed this one more for the SNL stories, and the highlighting of people you never hear about otherwise.

Maybe it wasn't the jokiest episode, but I really enjoyed it.
