Despite the :japan: emote I get the feeling that the anime ending right before the timeskip was deliberate. It's the weirdest thing, since the entire rest of the manga doesn't seem to be aimed at...that sort of crowd.

theres always been hints that the author aint quiet right considering the self insert character of the manga author

i finished father and son. really nice manga, its cute how everyone interacts with each other and all those connections start building up. also the tsundere in it probably is the funniest one in years, mainly because of how ineffective she is due to being a toddler (? not sure on their ages)

dating dads and/or dads already in relationships

http://kissmanga.com/Manga/Kaeru-no-Ossan/1-Read-Online?id=192788
mostly cheap gags tho

Orange Yane no Chiisana Ie is already in the op but has a dad who gets in a relationship with a single mom

gakuen babysitters has a bunch of dads and moms but they are side characters instead of the focus (the focus is hot guys in school babysitting cute kids)

the couple in i can't understand what my husband is saying is currently expecting a baby

the usagi drop anime features the single dad trying to date single moms, but well you know

Soshite, Hare ni Naru is about a family of women, no dads as far as i remember but i figure its worth mentioning since it hasn't been so far. actual developing relationships too

i read Yoningurashi by the usagi drop lady. it was pretty good. i was wary at first because of its author but there's none of the weird stuff

Ikumen After
A cute, sweet story about two single dads Asakura and Kentarou, whose young sons happen to go to the same daycare.

read this one, twas ok. im not really the audience obviously, it ended rather suddenly with dropped plot lines (brother in law appeared once and then never again) and the translation was rather shoddy but outside of that it was ok

the new gakuen babysitters has a pretty shocking development: midori is a boy. now before you all panic due to this gamechanger, it turns out the translators made a translation error and she's still a girl

A new one for the male lead + childcare pile

King of Childcare
The story follows Iku Fukuda, who likes working with kids, so he gets a job at a day care center. When he realizes there's a gap between his expectations and reality, he quits after 2 months. But Fukuda doesn't give up on his love of working with kids.

Just one chapter so far but it was a pretty good starting chapter. It's by the same person who wrote Gingitsune which I haven't read but thought was pretty well-received?

cute so far and the joke with the mean principal at the end was actually funny but i hope the other senseis are nicer! they probably will be though (except maybe glasses 2), looking at their designs. excited for the big guy

its a single mom series though! those are pretty rare as far as i've seen. its already ended in japan (single volume) so we'll probably actually get all of it translated. its from the same author as the good Soshite, Hare ni Naru.

reliable class rep + lazy boy raising a toddler they find in a box, cute moments and romance follow. there apparently is a second volume sequel to it that's not translated, but the story feels complete with just these 3 chapters

I really like how this manga hints around at the different family dynamics. Pretty sure that panel showing her dad totally horrified means he smacked her once and felt completely awful about it but since she's a kid all she remembers is that it happened.
