dolch cap set back on assdrop

https://www.massdrop.com/buy/dsa-do...uest%20Launched

they're made by sp but it's not the same set as the round 4/5/5a/whatevs so whoever got on those still retains nerd supremacy

seriously thinking about pulling the trigger on that one, any suggestion on a suitable 10key keyboard to go with that would enhance the vintage-isness?

loving score, found someone selling a model m for :10bux::10bux: down the street from me

what's better is that i have actual ps2 ports on my laptop docks

my coworkers are going to have to learn to love the clicky clacky

any suggestions for a mouse to pair it up with?

e: 3 button mouse preferred

e2: current user of mx performance and mx air, prefer larger mice

you want an IBM M-SF15 or M-S30 PS/2 3-button mouse

it's the canonical mouse to pair with a Model M because it's what IBM shipped with the RS/6000

I'll post a pic tonight, I use one with the Model M on my BeBox

whoa, delightfully rectangle-y

neato!

i'll have to consider the mouse, as much as i'd love a matched set the mx performance i have at the office is really good

heh, 20$ on ebay though, worst case it's a desk toy

well right off the bat 1) do you have dock options 2) do you want a dock?

if you want to clear up some desk space you can do what i did, wall mount a dock and have the laptop vertical

this depends on how wide you can open it though

just took a contract that moves me from an office to a shared-ish workplace, my gut tells me my model m might get me swiftly murdered

thinking something with browns, has to be full size (f & 10 keys, macros would be nice) but anything fairly quiet is fine

ideally needs to be around 100$, refurb or used is fine

i was thinking more from a looks point of view than functional, i've yet to see a model m with faded keys

i do have a spare in a fucky french canadian layout, i might try to leave all the plastic components in black plastic dye for a few days to make a murdered out model m, it's yellowed anyway
