I've had a blue cooler master mech for awhile. $50, bouncy with poo poo fonts on the caps. just waiting for a happy hacking v3. or maybe I'll just break down this summer and snag one. I look at everything else and torpe just seems right

well my hhkb2 came in. pbt keys feel great and the bounce of the topre is cool. so far so good. probably post a real trip report after a week or two but i already like this way more than my cm quickfire that i've had for 5 years.

Shaggar posted:lol nice 10keyless with missing windows key and hosed up control/alt I use emacs so I've always had caps lock as control. There is also a Mac in the background if you didn't notice, it has the Mac layout. anything else I want I've learned its function key + spot in a matter of days. I don't game. faxlore posted:I tried out my buddies leopold ten keyless and I really liked it. I don't know if I could get the HHKB cause I don't really dig the layout that much. I wouldn't have got it if I didn't live inside emacs and terminal for a living. my other choice was gonna be the Leopold FC660c, it looks pretty solid. b0red fucked around with this message at 01:17 on Jun 15, 2016 |

even than if it does require some sort of drivers most keyboards/mice have onboard memory now and that software is just there to setup your initial macros/gamerz config. I that lovely logitech config thing back in 2009 for my g9, setup a few profiles, deleted it and have never had to touch it since.

Endless Mike posted:well, i'm asking because i want a better keyboard at work, and the computer is locked down so i can't install anything that's not on an approved list, which i doubt "logitech extreme gamer control center!!!!" or whatever is on. Well it depends on what you're trying to spend. You either get the cheaper logitech and configure it at home or blow a bit more dosh for a mech that has programmable macros built straight into it which many do. pok3r can do it iirc but you seem like you want a full keyboard. this das is fullsize and has macros http://www.divisionzerogaming.com/x40/ althought it looks a bit extreme mtndew360 imo

Salt Fish posted:Hi im looking for a keyboard. it must be pinku (thats japanese for pink) or any girl color. It has to be of 2 or more reberu (thats japanese for 2 layers) and has be be chibi (small) sized. And has to be really kawaii (cute). Also It has to be about 100-200 bux. And you have to post pics of it first (i want to make shure it's kawaii [cute]). And it would be nice if it came with matching paracord. OH! and it CANNOT have any cartoon pictures, or be made out of ABS. It has to be made of PBT, or something like that. Also it would be nice if it was made in japan. and not in china or corea (korea) or whatever. I have found a keyboard similar to the one im describing in e-bay, but it was cherry MX, and i dont want my yubi (fingers) to touch an inferior keycap ( I need torpe made by superior japanese) youre trying to hard. ineffective burn. found your keyboard waifu anyway
