it doesnt surprise me a bunch of contrarian goons are salty about it, heh. this keyset is majorly popular on the mechanical keyboards subreddit. a website that is more popular and relevant than sa, i might add?

advantage: arrow keys have a cool layout, OMNI key, lots of function keys, function keys on the left (cool)

disadvantage: nonstandard number of Alps switches so no cool keycap sets, ever

i kinda like that configuration w/ the arrow keys

why aren't we talking about keyboards

in a slightly disappointing turn of events ive discovered perhaps a sad tale
http://keypuller.com/profile/sa/

if you do weight around for an SA profile group buy you might not get this

but this

they're cheaping out and just using like row 3 and 4 for all keys rahter than each row being its own profile

you would feel like a sack of poo poo touched your brides face on yur wedding day

uhh that bottom one is garbage

the first one is round 4

http://deskthority.net/wiki/Doubleshot_Replacements_Round_4

the one im waiting on is round 5, which is the same but different colors

the problem of course with these group buys is you have to wait TWO YEARS for the keys

pram
Jun 10, 2001
also the guy who runs that group guy said hes never doing it again so if you want round 5 you have to wait until someone sells it

pram
Jun 10, 2001
lmfao gently caress off normie

pram
Jun 10, 2001

no one cares that you're using some peasant rubber dome poo poo gtfo

pram
Jun 10, 2001
round 5 was gray/darker gray, black, red

http://deskthority.net/wiki/Round_5

round 5a was blue and gray again, black, red, white, cream, and purple. these have not been manufactured yet

http://deskthority.net/wiki/Round_5a

pram
Jun 10, 2001
lol pretty expensive. round 5 tenkeyless looks like it was $140 and round 5a tenkeyless set was $80

pram
Jun 10, 2001
i was planning on reselling the 5a set but idk now. i may keep it since hes not going to do any more

pram
Jun 10, 2001
i bought the dsa one to replace a blank keyset i had because i was tired of hunting down the symbols on numbers

pram
Jun 10, 2001
i have one KUL 87 and two Leopold FC200s. the SA profile stuff will be going on my leopolds

pram
Jun 10, 2001
you should just start your own keycap store. i doubt submitting orders to signature plastics is that hard, and theres tons of demand for SA profile stuff

pram
Jun 10, 2001
people are starting to get their round 5 :jackbud:
