If your knees hurt you probably have an imbalance. Do half squats and leg press until your quads grow so much they push your hamstrings out of the way and balance your legs

Ive surprised myself at how fast I've increased my deadlift in the last year. My max was an ugly 315 and now I'm doing 440x2 with good form.

395x6 deadlift and thought about going for 7 but my hearing started to fade and it was white around the edge of my vision and I have work tomorrow. Figured I should save a possible concussion from collapsing but it killed my gains :negative:

Did my workout at noon because of the holiday. Ended up doing 315x8 squats and 245x8 bench. Both I felt like if I pushed it I could get a 9th rep. Merry Gainsmass to all

But that's just a rack pull and you can still use your knees. What if your feet are at your knees?

Your knees move backwards when deadlifting. Would not having shins make it easier? You don't have to lift as far but you also lose knee extension in the movement
