Season 7 and beyond is here. Hokies Hokies Hokies with their 5th ACC title won, and their 6th Coastal title, along with a 3rd national title. UNC won their new division but wasn't able to close out the ACC title due to coach injury (maybe). This year we are all in it together, round robin. We blew up CFB, the Big XII got some Bball affiliations, the American looks like it, and the ACC is the new king of football. Enjoy the easter eggs I planted in the other conference division names. If there are scheduling problems, provided I am aware of them I will work with y'all to get games played. 2)I am a cruel and powerful commish, I move this thing along when I say I plan to especially as it concerns CPU games. I will often set a deadline and players need to get their games in. I don't wait on people with CPU games unless there is the aforementioned communication about a situation. 3)We don't play FCS teams in this league. We prefer mid major meats around these parts. 4)It's a good time in here, trash talk is fine and we will all have fun with the thread. 5)I will listen to suggestions about improving the game play of the dynasty, but the decision to implement anything is ultimately mine. 6)I don't care about CPU games; they are for getting bowl eligible and pointless stat padding. I won't be upset about a reset or two along the way. That said don't restart a half dozen times because someone got injured. Forever and ever. The recruiting board is getting wacky because I'm focusing on my pipeline states and there are so many guys that have me in their top 3 from bizzare spots and despite the lack of coach XP JB has been successful enough to warrant being in contention for a lot of them. We'll have to see if he comes back (i sure hope he does because with round robin play I think this season is going to be very interesting!) It was honestly less stressful when you aren't a 6* guy because suddenly you are in contention for just a ton of recruits and prioritizing gets tricky. First World Football Problems. No problem man. Also the scheduling got really weird so everyone has a week 1 bye and we are now all playing games in week 15 since we have no more 13th game for a conference championship. Sly for your broken hand I tried giving you as many byes/cupcakes early as I could so you can recuperate.

I didn't want them to start till week 4, but it gave a couple of us week 2 games so even that is basically made up EA bullshit.

I've put in some stat changes. Dubious you have a legitimate QB now on there with real THP/THA (he had like 50 speed I pushed that to around 70 so see how that works for you). Miami QB now has 87 THP. GT/NCSU Olines improved. See if that helps guys.

I had bumped a lot of guys back up Oline players so that at the least you'll be okay moving forward. It looked like JB had a walk on at LG that I tried fixing into an actual player. e: I see they haven't stuck. I want to try again in the offseason, but I'll also look at new rosters. I simply feel like I've given you both plenty of concessions and backed of players enough already. If I took everyone you guys wanted off my board I would only be recruiting sub 70 ovr players because there is a huge gap in the talent and where things have shook out. The guys that want you #1 are not always the guys that actually address roster needs, and the guys you mentioned I've already backed off more to my point. It's not like I constantly pull #1 recruiting classes with VT, I've not once ever done that in this league. So I'm trying to help, but asking every week to back off when I already have to the degree I think I can, just accept not all of us could back of every recruit. You've got a lead on all the guys you mentioned and I'm trailing back every week. The flip answer can go to you, maybe find more recruits that aren't in competition with other users if you want I guess mainly me, sly, dio to abandon chunks of the board. The need to only land 4 & 5* guys + the limited roster #s is a pit for recruiting desire. Find those 68-74 3* dudes that you can land and build depth. The whole reason I wanted a long term dynasty was so that we'd really push all the aspects of the game. Mostly I just want to be able to keep plugging along in this file on my own if it were possible, but I'm not sure EA will let me commish two dynasties which would mean I'd have to kill this one and yeah that makes me sad since I'd just make it an offline one if I could. It's been very hard to only go by need as often the guys I need you end up with a recruiting class that just isn't very good at your spots of need, but there are BPA guys who you'd want to nab just from a prestige/value side.

The new rosters I found are again modified to Madden ratings standards and not the NCAA logic. I'll slowly work my way through them, and it seems like the overwhelming desire is for us to start a new dynasty (maybe sooner than the end of this season, but maybe not?). I'll listen since I'd rather play this game longer with you guys than not. The game just isn't very fun I find when your guys just poo poo themselves all over the field p often, that first SEC season was annoying for everyone. I do think I may work on the injury ratings as most folks have had basically superhuman rosters when it comes to injuries, and I feel like maybe that's an area I could mess with to warrant using more of the depth on our depth chart. Big debate - create a coach with a base of lvl 20-30 to start or should we just use the preexisting coaches? I guess I'll start taking input on what we'd like the next one to look like, divisions again or round robin like I've got this season setup with? The restart will open the door for someone to claim Clemson, or Louisville both of whom should be quality outfits moving into this fresh season. I do want to see how this plays out so probably when this season concludes I'll start it. Didn't play through 6 seasons not to play everyone's recruited teams! I am okay with Sly's suggestion of maxed out coaches to start.
