Their anti-cheat DLL doesn't auto-detect stuff that opens the EQ client memory space for reading. Doesn't mean they aren't checking out all your porn tabs and processes though. They really have reproduced the classic EQ experience. Rampant cheating that the developers are incapable of seriously addressing. Surprised they haven't done anything server-side yet to limit spawn info being sent to clients by radius. Its all still there for the taking just like it was in the good ole days.

Reds population has gotten too low, and the same folk are still using fungi twinks to kill people in the only zones people visit so I'm going back to blue. How much are field of bone potions? I want to level a DE enchanter in Kurns

I have a sad brain so I made a semi-automated script to run zone textures through one of the newer up-scaling algos twice (waifu2x). It actually looks pretty good, although I picked two of the shittiest zones (mistmoore and uguk) to try it on first. http://imgur.com/a/E13C4 Gonna try and get a couple more of the most popular zones and then I'll have to find a place to host them. I'd like to work a cartoony filter in there also to go with the vectorized player model textures.

Turned off advanced lighting, everything looks better. It seriously looks like it just applies a super intense light to arbitrary pieces of geometry.
