It does, Sideload Launcher, by none other than Chainfire.

I got sick of this crap too and gave my Gen1 FTV to my inlaws. Still have a couple of sticks, one of which I take with me when I travel and hook up to hotel TVs, but I couldn't be happier with a Shield TV. Got it for $150 with a free remote, and it's way less hassle than the FTV, with a much cleaner interface, and the performance difference is certainly noticeable.
