I've been playing quake 3 on and off for pretty much for the past 15 years, and during that time I don't think I've ever seen a better frag video than this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFC5q6kRz3w A little context: nzr0 and HAL_9000 are two bulgarian CPM quakers, and at the time they were probably either the best or close enough to it at what they did. Their favourite map was the same: Aerowalk, a classic map from quake 1, and they fought each other regularly. This video is but a small sample of the kinds of ridiculous poo poo they were capable of. To put into perspective the levels that these guys were playing quake, nzr0 stuck with CRT monitor technology for YEARS simply because the latency of LCDs just wasn't good enough. Seeing this video in 30fps on youtube really doesn't do it justice.

Christ, imagine being the parent of a young man who chose to dedicate his life to this kind of bullshit. He must have spent literal days, if not weeks, of his life just jumping against that one railing over and over. e: from 2:12 to 2:50 he is literally just jumping into the same corner over and over.

Super Monkey Ball is one of those games where you don't have to play to appreciate how hard some of the levels are. It's weird because I would of never expected a game named Super Monkey Ball to be so ridiculously hard. This might need a little context, this person uses a teleporter item that is unreliable for most players (a common player might use it and accidentally teleport into a wall, or over some spikes). The game is randomly generated so you have to quickly adapt to each level. And he pissed off the store keeper, making every exit guarded by an angry one-hit-ko enemy. Isn't there one where some guy did this battle with his eyes closed or a blindfold on or something? I remember it being impressive because he literally had to memorize every last step of the battle for like 30 minutes. [e]: I also remember said guy calling out each step as he's doing it for the duration. I don't think it was just blindfolded but using only one side of the controller or something.
