Funny thought just occurred to me: What if Obama were to resign prior to the end of his second term, allowing Biden to become President and then run for re-election as the incumbent, on a platform of continuing the Obama-Biden agenda for another eight years? Would the Democrats immediately throw their full support behind Diamond Joe, or would they follow through with whoever won the primary, assuming this were to happen after that? Would it be viewed as an attempt to circumvent the spirit of term limits, if not the letter?
