This lead to a bunch of hype about their eventual meeting during the regular season. It was billed as the "game of the century" or some such nonsense by ESPN. Bama ended up losing the game at home to LSU in OT and this made this particular fan very sad. The most unbelievable part was that the score was 6-6 in OT.
