This thread still being in the first page, I would like to thank Hobo for being kin leader all these years.

I've had a lifetime account since beta and he's done a good job since the beginning. He's kept the kin together during good and bad time and has always took good decisions IMHO.

I nominate him for the "new" kin leader.

Thank Hobo :)

A Nazgun is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.

But yeah hopefully I can fulfill that destiny tonight :)

Yup I guess that's the next step after hitting 100 : Gearing up :) That and working on my Historian faction.

I sure am up for some runs with you that sound great !

Also, someone sent me a Blemished Symbol of Celebrimbor, if anyone can make a second age lvl 100 LM staff that would be very sweet.

Edit : Oh heh it appear world transfer is back in the launcher, however silverlode is not up for leaving yet.

No worries I can wait a bit :) Also I could duo with that other character of your if you'd like so you can benefit from that tome.

You can see what expansion you have by logging in at this url : https://myaccount.turbine.com/index.php

It will show the expansion but not what quest pack or account upgrades you have. That would certainly be a nice addition to that site.

I figured back then that I would probably play at least 1 or 2 years if the game was any good. Plus I was and still am a Tolkien fan so the odds were very much in my favor so I took the plunge and got the lifetime plans. I still had to buy the expansions so I did spent a couple hundreds bucks on this game. It's all worth it for sure.

Oh and I ran Pelagir in a fellowship for the first time today and it was fun, we got platinum achievement and I was lucky enough to get an Elder king symbol !! So I crafted myself a first age book woot woot :)

No you didn't miss the transfer. From what we've gather it should happen sometime in October or something.

I'm not sure we've decided on a server yet. I think we want to go on Brandywine if it's still open for transfer and Landroval being the second choice.

I'd like to try that soon but there's no chatter about it in /world and I don't have the guts to lead a t2 yet since I haven't even ran it once yet.

I organized and lead Retaking Pelagir fellowship and got everything plat ! Felt good the first time :) My gearing up is doing good too, The only purple I have left is my off-hand, apart from that and my class item everything is teal and gold. I'm close to 20,000 morale too !

I looked on the AH for these two slots but no luck so far. Does Sammy drop a teal 1h sword ? Also if someone can craft a better ranged item please let me know.

It's true, I get that bad rear end feeling questing in Gondor, it's a very different atmosphere from the rest of the game. Being level 100 also is motivating, having 3 digits in your level and all that. It's been great experience coming back.

Np for the thorog raid, it's a 24 man instancethat can be done with 12 no problem and people join and leave these raids all the time.

I really like this new server, there's always something to run.

Yup, people still farm Sambrog for Marks and Medallion. There also are open raids for Thorog on a daily basis which is nice because there's a lot of people moving about.

Yeah the quest reward token for roving threat can be thraded in for lvl 100 first age weapons and other stuff. I also see group forming for that in the /world channel pretty regulary.

I especially like the new emote panel and barter costs for Anfalas Scrolls of Empowerment have been decreased.

I've been leveling a guardian up to 75 now. Wow are they a change from a Lore-Master it's refreshing. I can run around and aggro 6-7 mobs a higher level than me, tank them and slowly kill them while I heal.

Also for anyone going through 65-85, You can get teala rmor from url]https://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Adventurer%27s_Quartermaster[/url] adeventure quatermaster and a skirmish armor trader in exchange for marks and medallion. It's good stuff.

As other have said, craft if you enjoy it but it's not going to change your gaming experience.
As for Scholar, you can do attack and defence scroll and hope token, they are nice to have and certainly very useful for the harder encounter but it's not lfie-changing.
You can also craft first age minstrel and lore master book.

So I've joined a PUG for the Dreaded Terror yesterday. We made about 6 or 7 attempts at the first boss and almost beat it. Got it down to 1.4 millions HP (out of 10.5 millions) but always wiped in the end.

We used the strategy of having 2 groups, one on each side of the boss, all the players of each group stand at the same place so that the damage is divided on each players. My LM was at 25k HP with all the buff and I was dieing at least once per battle from the massive damage.

I'm still wearing a lot of lvl 100 gold and teal stuff, decent gear for 100 but it might be lacking for 105 raid.

Oh yeah this was T1. T2 he start apparently with 23M hp lol.

Anyway, it was still fun even if we didn't beat it and wiped at each attempt, there was progression and learning by all.

It's a nice change of pace from the usually easy encounters in the game.

Anyone beat it yet ?
