Give the death penalty to Baylor, to anyone who plays at Baylor, to anyone who played at Baylor, to anyone who went to Baylor, and to anyone who ever watched Baylor football play.

I thought about Baylor football in writing this post, I'll be up against the wall in five minutes, bring me a blindfold and a cigarette.

I went to Baylor from 02-08. There are a lot more people that need to be fired. Baylor hasn't released the full report for a reason. There is definitely more and worse things to come. I've been publicly calling for Briles and Starr to be fired for a while now and all of my Baylor friends on facebook have been mostly silent or taking a wait and see approach. I was pleasantly surprised today that most of them ended up backing the moves, but I've seen nobody but one out of a couple of hundred call for more. A few are still defending Briles and Starr which I don't understand how that is possible after what Baylor has already admitted to.

My understanding is that they're not going to release (or even officially file) a full report in order to keep the findings under protection of attorney-client privilege. Because there are definitely more lawsuits coming.

I don't know if that's how it actually works, but it's what I read somewhere.

If axing the football team would stave off the inevitable avalanche of lawsuits and the DoJ investigation the BoR would have done it yesterday. They really don't have many options at this point.

The Baylor S&C staff was all fired. Speculation is that is related to the cryptic line in the summary report stating that Baylor's drug policy is not up to the standards that it needs to be.

Rumor is that Kendall Briles resigned last night, but no confirmation on that.

CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Southern California freshman tailback Dillon Baxter has been ruled ineligible to compete for the Trojans because he solicited a ride in a golf cart on USC's campus from an NFLPA-certified agent Thursday in violation of NCAA rules concerning extra benefits, school officials confirmed Saturday.

The agent, Teague Egan, is the CEO of 1st Round Enterprises, a company that represents multiple recording artists and lists itself as a provider of sports representation. Egan is also currently a student at USC, according to official school records.
