The plan is to turn the tables and make america so terrible for hispanics and minorities that they self-deport to Mexico in such numbers that the Mexican govt feels compelled to build a wall to keep them out. That way you get rid of a large chunk of the illegals and get Mexico to pay for the wall

On Penn and Teller's Bullshit, there was an episode they hired some migrant workers to build a 20 ft wide x 20 ft tall wall out of sheet metal and barbed wire. Took them a entire day to build it. Then in 3 different teams of the migrant workers who built it, one over, one under, and one through, they all got past it in 2 minutes.

Boeing won the contract to build a virtual fence years ago. This turned out to also not work and be hugely expensive. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/01/13/federal-report-says-border-patrol-drone-program-doesnt-fly/ We might be able to physically build an ineffective wall in theory, but in practice Boeing or Lockheed are just going to run the project poorly and lobby for deadline extensions and additional money until the program is cancelled due to cost overruns and Obama being not good. The wall conversation is just a racist dogwhistle, anyway. The Obama administration has secured the gently caress out of our border in his time as president in comparison to Bush, all without any additional walls.

East Germany were pretty good at keeping their people captive. Despite having to guard a long border With almost no natural barriers. They proved that all you need lot`s a of barbered wire, guard towers and soldiers who will shoot to kill without hesitation. It should be feasible for the US to build it`s own great wall. You don`t even need real soldiers. Just allow vilgilante racist Groups and to operate freely in the border area. These guys don`t need to get paid to shoot brown people.

My wall would be so elaborate. We're talking built-in theme parks, restaurants, million dollar luxury apartments, hotels and observation towers (so you can leer at the poors in Mexico in a nicely air conditioned skybar). Not to mention state-of-the-art defenses that can fire a barrage of .50cal or guided missiles at anyone on the other side that dares to get close. Call it the mother fuckin Freedom Wall to boot.
