wikipedia from the future posted:

“On the Road (to nowhere)” is a novel by American writer Noah Kerouac, based on the travels of Kerouac and his pose across America. It is considered a defining work of the post-9/11 millennial and Hipster generations, with its protagonists living life against a backdrop of twitter feuds, skinny jeans, and artisan mixologist daiquiris. The novel is a roman à clef, with many key figures in the millennial movement, such as Mark Zuckerberg (Old Man Social) and Lena Dunham (Carla Camel-toe) represented by characters in the book, including Kerouac himself as the narrator Sal Williamsburg.

The idea for On the Road (to nowhere), Kerouac's second novel, was formed during the late 2010s on a series of tweets from a variety of handheld mobile iDevices, and then typed out in a continuous facebook status update during three weeks in April 2017. It was first published by The Cheezburger Network in 2018.

Dingus couldn't even keep his eyes on the road for staring at his phone. His phone probably died and then he went all mental. Correlation: phone out of battery/doesn't know how to exist in society.

I was born in 1980, one of those awkward "cusp" years where you don't really get any of the benefits of the generations before OR after you.

It does grant you a unique outside perspective to realize that everything negative leveled at each generation is 100% accurate. Everybody sucks. The new generation always thinks the old one is out of touch and stupid. The older generation always thinks the younger one is entitled and stupid. They're both right.

same also you get shitloads of grant money on top of it for being a low-income veteran so you basically make what they call in the industry a "whole lot of money" profiting off going to school. If you fully embrace free housing and food while in and save smartly, there is no excuse to not be able to graduate with a free degree and enough money/good credit for 20% down on a respectable home.

but some people don't want to fight for capitalism or kill innocent people (ON ACCIDENT!!!!) so it's basically not for faggots (MILLENNIALS!)
