gently caress, man, i've got the same problem. i have to write new ones so something else gets stuck in my brain. it's weird waking up with these dumb songs about wrestlers just looping endlessly because i listened to them 100ish times while mixing.

These are really good but need audience cheering / pyro sound effects and maybe weird dubs for the wrestlers and it wouldn't take any impact away from the song itself

well, they've all got little tidbits of that. dolph Z has a voice. there are pyrotechnics sounds in brock lesnar, and a lovely audience howl at the end. a lot of them have the classic WWE boings. i guess part of what i like is the super hollow clapping instead of full arena noises. the "shreds" videos were like that, and i really dug it. i'm also working harder than ever to keep the vocals intelligible, which is my other concern about adding a full, lush audience sound.

that being said, i'm gonna take what u said into consideration b/c i want to keep making these better since more and more people are starting to see them. :)

i never really understood pro wrestling after i turned 8 or so years old (early 90s)

i dunno - if their moves actually looked realistic, i could probably find it as an acceptable form of entertainment. bunch of steroid-pumped mofos spitting out scripted crap pre-ring doesn't cut it for me

i just watched some mexican pro wrestling and japanese pro wrestling. fuckin sick acrobatic moves with the mexicans and japanese pro wrestling has electric fence effects and such

i don't get it, really.

go ahead, hate on me. whatev. at least i'm not calling any wwe fans derogatory insults and crap

i might've watched WWE once in the past 10 years. i kinda liked it but i was more into the spectacle and production. the combination of the athletic moves, camerawork and over-caffeinated announcers all work together in a really entertaining way. it's like watching magicians, because it's all rehearsed entertainment but i'm curious how they do it and how it works together.

i can't speak to the storylines but yeah i don't like people who talk down to wrestling fans. the people who do that i think are out of touch with ordinary people and the country they're actually living in.

thank you! i haven't heard it in a while, but i think about it on occasion. p good piss track! and yeah, i think HBO is gonna make an appearance in these wrestling vids eventually. ;) GoT is a funny one too, since people were super polarized about that one. basically every theme was polarizing, but that one affected people a lot more than so many others. and it's so obviously just for fun.

no hate, but this is kinda incongruent since these vids are pretty drat loose to begin with. like only tangentially about the people in them. and lots of potential lies about small bladders. i didn't know much about WWE when i started this, but based on how great all the fans have been to me/some of the wacky stuff i've witnessed making these vids, i might actually watch some events now and then. it's all just for fun, dawg. i know for sure that i would like watching it a helluva lot more than i would other sports.

well, i kinda like to think that he chose/wrote those lyrics about himself. i think it adds a nice, weird dimension to everything—that the wrestlers approved these songs to be used in this context.

but yeah, it's homoerotic af :)
