I have a subscription to the Nat Geo magazine, I haven't noticed anything awry. The consensus in news seems to be that it was the Nat Geo TV station that was actually keeping the place afloat. I googled up some articles about it, I haven't read any smoking gun that suggests to me that the place has been significantly Fox Newsed up.
