Pittsburgh, like 14 other cities, plays Incorrect Baseball where the crowd is forced to watch pitchers pee their pants and hope to pull a walk.

The Pittsburgh Pirates are one of the oldest baseball clubs at 129 years old. Modern baseball is about 112 years old (consolidation of MLB). The DH rule is 45 years old. I'd say the DH is incorrect baseball.

Not yet. Only 14 teams in the history of MLB have ever made the playoffs four times in a row. I'm hoping the Buccos can pull it off.

He said during a game interview last year that he's like a dad with 14 kids, he's a pretty cool guy. I was afraid that losing Benedict would gently caress up our game, but Nicasio is evidence otherwise.

the university of pittsburgh is not a public university as its administration is not accountable by the public in any way shape or form

My company heavily sponsors the Penguins and I get free tickets to the game if I agree to stand at the entrance and hand out promotional poo poo and programs for an hour. That said, to hell with that.

Ah, yeah, that's right, Joe Schmoe can't just call the chancellor to yell at him like they can the chancellor of the University of California system.

University of Pittsburgh is the definition of a public university; it's a land grant university that receives funding from the state. PSU and Pitt are public universities and the only people who say otherwise are people who want to pretend they went to a private university.

that's a good idea, the most accurate portrayal of a privatized police department (robocop) was filmed partly in pittsburgh. at a disused steel mill, because they got tired of looking for something in the area that wasn't one

Pitt is not a land-grand university at all though. It receives state funding but is not administered by the state itself, unlike Penn State. That said, given that it depends on state funds, the state can and does influence operations.

But yes, it's a public school.
