I love when Fed's goes into beast mode like this, but each time he just runs out of momentum and loses like 5 straight points

A missed forehand after not converting a double breakpoint. A fitting end.

The break point conversion thing is unreal. Was he always bad at that or is it a recent development in the past few years? 4/23 for gently caress's sake, that's woeful.

Djokovic better break Nadal's slam record now (but not Federer's).

Plus, when he was at his best, he hardly ever got broken himself. So he really only needed 3-4 break points to win a match.

Waynebo posted:we could use real stats to figure this out http://www.atpworldtour.com/en/players/roger-federer/f324/player-stats?year=0&surfaceType=all but nah let's reminisce instead He's within 4% of Nadal and Djokovic over his whole career with 41% of break points converted overall. Tonight he was 4/23 which comes out to a little over 17%. So he played way worse than normal tonight and isn't actually that much worse than his main rivals.
