nah when it comes to the govt it's more like automatic license plate readers they suck everything up and sit on it for post-game analysis if you stick out, they look into you and learn more about you and your contacts for reasons of legal weaseling, in the U.S., information is only "collected" when human eyes look at it americans in america have some protections but foreigners or americans outside of america have none corporations just want to sell you stuff, or sell the stuff they collect, though there's few protections for the government gaining access to personal information collected by private entities that's why everyones mad about FISA and secret courts and stuff but corporations really just wanna sell you products or sell your info to credit and insurance agencies who buy that stuff so they can sell "credit check" and "business risk" services to other companies, like retailers or banks

youre as bad as cremnob he exposed what every paranoid nutcase had feared - that the government spies on everyone and jerks off to picture of your wife etf people were all "duh of course they did that" but he bought the definite proof. even people like graham were like "i cant believe the tin foil hat brigade was right" your ambivilance is the kind of thing thats gonna lead us into super badness. what if the governemtn changes? what if criticism of he government becomes illegal? you think that wont hapen again? the economy is tanking and dictatorship governements are on the horizon. you;re walking into a trap, im warning you about it and you're just smiling
