This reminds me of the raiden thing someone mentioned during metal gear July, where an alert was on but as raiden passed a downed radio soldier he threw his voice and called an all clear. I'm almost certain o remember this happening but that was 12 years ago and I could be imagining it

edit: I'm not saying I don't believe you I meant to say there's lots of tiny little quirks that go almost unnoticed

I liked it more than I expected because I am not a Star Wars guy. It was the equivalent of Star Wars: A New Hope HD Collection and it was pretty cool

Started playing this again after putting it down for several months. I was in Africa on a mission to rescue a guy who escaped into a small forest. Forgot how to do everything. Ended up using all my rifle ammo and RPG ammo. Still completed the mission. Awesome.

I played this for the first time in months too and it felt badass because I did the red brass mission and first attempt I snuck into the room where the officers were meeting after not touching a single guard, threw a sleep grenade in and then wormhole fultoned everyone out and escaped before millers canned responses about capturing each target played. S rank, natch.

though i wish i'd unplugged my ethernet cable after day one so i wouldn't have to deal with any of this online bullshit. i guess maybe the daily and event rewards make up for it. idk. it's dumb that i come back after two months of being busy irl and discover that all my guys got spirited away by balloons.

The way money is handled loving sucks cock in this game. Yeah better have a money cap in this game about running a mercenary company. The guys at Blackwater put a cap on how much money they make in a year because they want to be ethical.

It made up for the other night where I crashed at my mates after a night out and he put this on his steam box and we kept getting spotted by the first guard on the total stealth mission he was stuck on. I remember drunkenly navigating the Xbox controller trying to call in the guns I use for like 15 mins and then getting spotted as soon as I hopped out of the supply box.

A wolf howls.
I know how he feels.
Went back into this game after taking a break to show it off to a friend. I've made the perfect route to extracting the bionics specialist with no alerts but kept getting spotted when I was trying to show it off to someone else. Ended the run knocking every guard outside of the hostage's room with decoys and still s ranked the mission.

man if they released extra areas or missions I would buy it in a heartbeat, this game doesn't quit. I'd pay $60 for another area the size of Africa or something, or if they just remixed the open world a little more so Walker Gears showed up on patrol like that poster above said

see its actually good that we never get this stuff -- the game wants us to 'feel the phantom pain' of loss you know? poo poo is brilliant in that regard.
