I'm also going to really dig in on getting the old comics back and uploaded onto FART. I know I said I was before, but, y'know, life. No idea how quickly/slowly the process might go, but it's absolutely a thing on my to-do list for getting poo poo rolling again.

Glad to have you back soon, my man.

BTW - I was thinking about making a custom page for TMM comics on FART to make them easy to browse. Maybe something with little widgets that show a thumbnail, date, and title of the comic in a grid. One thing I noticed on google analytics is that no one reads just one TMM. They always want to see more :unsmith:

That'd be fantastic, and if there's any way I can make that easier to set up for you in file naming or dating, just let me know.

In a few minutes I'm going to start uploading all of the old site's comics (118 in all, maybe 120-ish after random bits get thrown in). I'll backdate them so they hopefully don't flood the main page, but if there's anything you want me to do just shoot me a PM or let me know here or send a carrier pigeon or whatever

I scrolled through a few of the options FB gave me for that post, and was helpless to choose anything else once I saw it

Edit: It takes around a minute, maybe a minute and ten seconds (I timed it because I was curious) to post one of the old comics, so there's a chance I'll be done uploading all of the old ones before this afternoon. You can already browse the ones that are up by checking out the 'Old TMM' tag.

Okay, I've uploaded fifty old comics (another seventy or so to go). Early afternoon was definitely optimistic, but the point is it's getting done and all of the old TMMs should be on FART by the end of the day :)

Still powering through the uploading/tagging of these comics. I think I have something like 20 to go?

I'm only updating because I just ran across what I think is my favorite comic of all I've done:

I might pick up a new project somewhere down the line, for whatever that's worth.

Here's the thing: Lack of time is certainly a factor, but realistically, I haven't been able to keep a steady run of TMM comics going for more than a few months at a time in years, and that's not just a matter of being busy. Time to just tie it off. Especially since the folks who have liked these things since I started loving around with 'em almost seven years ago deserve better than just a straight-up abandonment of the thing.

Yeah I'd gladly write for The Draw Play on the regular but Dave's arm would fall off within weeks. I'm terrible at keeping comics brief. The ones that're going up next week are stupid long.

I think Febreeze and I are going to try and figure out a solution, there. Not sure what it might be, and absolutely nothing is guaranteed, but he has talked to me about finding a permanent spot for these things.
