The problem is (for the most part) Siri still sucks horribly compared to Google Now. Hopefully there is some massive update besides "it's always listening!".

Yeah Siri is one of the few times where it feels like Apple rushed to the market to get a "digital assistant" out and it feels like everyone has surpassed them.

Cortana is awesome
Google Now is great

I haven't tried Echo but I've heard amazing things.

Just wait for the iPhone 7. This is yet another mid-cycle S upgrade with minimal new features and a faster CPU. What did you really expect? Most people get a new phone only once every two years, so Apple has little reason to have huge upgrades during the off years.

I like the S upgrade cycle. Usually bugs around the form factor are worked out and the CPU/Camera upgrade is pretty awesome.

Definitely will be upgrading from my 5s to a 6s or 6s plus

Yeah, S-to-S upgrades seems like the best idea.

Yeah I've been on that cycle since my first 3GS -> 4S -> 5S -> 6S

Someone do the math on that upgrade program to see if it's worth it.

Starting at $384 a year for a brand new unlocked phone with Applecare included?

Actually might be worth it

And oh wow, they're raising the Applecare+ deductible again to $99 per incident.

Oh. That's the same as my deductible with AT&T's insurance.

Unless I plan on upgrading every year then, I'll stick with AT&T's installment plan.

Choose a carrier and rate plan that work for you? Choose a carrier and rate plan that works for you?

After looking at it again, it's "the carrier and rate plan" that make it correct with work rather than works. You have to take both which makes it a plural direct object (you (understood) being the subject and you being the indirect object).

Though I could be talking out of my rear end.

Grammar talk.
