This game just makes me really sad that we never got a proper Space Marine sequel. I loved the poo poo out of that game, the single player was a blast. I though it sold fairly well so I don't know why it hasn't happened.

Thanks for the GMG tip, I feel a lot better about picking this up for $40. Looks fun, I loved the hell out of Spacemarine and played a bunch of it's multiplayer.

Eldar vs Orks seems a bit broken. Apparently the Eldar can float through the air and teleport and I'm just standing there with a pistol getting wrecked.

Orks are pretty fun. I haven't played the other races but I feel like Orks got the short end of the stick in most areas but it's not insurmountable. The melee is solid and I've had my best success playing a Slugga who just rushes in swinging away with a choppa. It's pretty great when you're in a huge 60 person server rushing into a fortress with a sea of green around you and the Waaaagh bonus is triggered.

I've been having pretty decent success with the melee system as an Ork. The key is to use CTRL to lock on and roll away to take shots at them.

It's pretty fun sneaking up on some lone Space Marine sniping in the back of a map.

Don't shoot your gun with the lock on. I've noticed if you just hold fire the kick back will back you shoot way over their heads with the auto lock.

What the hell is LP anyways? It's not explained anywhere in game but I'm assuming it's just a limit to the equipment you can have?

This game is the definition of janky and unbalanced but I can't stop playing it. It's just so fun killing try hard Space Marines as an Ork.

I keep buying the 1000 credit loot boxes trying to get all the items but I should probably save and just buy a better melee weapon then the basic Choppa. Whats a good melee upgrade for Orks?

It's me, the guy who only just tonight figured out you have to "equip" your custom classes in order to use them in a match...

On the bright side I got pretty good using the default load outs with scrub equipment.

The plasma cannon needs a nerf like real bad. One shot AOE is nuts.

They've talked about reworking the party system and guilds, it's definitely on the to do list. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

idk I've had pretty good success with Ork AV. My main tactic is, spot a vehicle and run away as fast as possible.

The difference is it's a Warhammer title so it will have a niche. If this came out as "generic arena shooter 3000" it would be DOA but because it's Space Marines and Orks it'll have a following. Hopefully they keep up the rate of progress they have had because it's been getting better with each patch.

Don't use melee lock on to shoot dudes. The spray will shoot over there head.

Also just do melee, it's the only way to play this game.
