in pikmin 3 there were a lot of types but you also had the split captain roles. one dude has tasks that involve flying and water pikmin, the other with red and yellow etc. pikmin 3 is so good but im still not sure how i felt about the whole multiple captains mechanic. pikmin 2 felt more solid

In Training posted:Pikmin 2 also had multiple captains...? yah but it was a convenience thing. like, the game wasnt designed around it, if you wanted to be more efficient you could split tasks but it was optional pikmin 3 youre switching between captains pretty often, it was fun but i prefer pik1 and 2's style. idk

i would still highly highly recommend pikmin 3 to everyone though. plus you can pick it up very cheap, maybe not in stores but through websites and people still selling leftover digital codes from the MK8 promotion

You're crazy man, there's a lot of puzzles in 2 where you have to throw the other captain to take him to different parts of the level. 3 just added a third one so maybe it stuck out more in your mind

I like that Pikmin 3 looks absolutely gorgeous throughout the entire game but every time you end a day and you watch the fruits get squeezed into a colorful juice, the framerate drops to single digits for no discernible reason
