I enjoy the mail slots only being so large. Gives docking those few moments of terror rather than being a completely boring chore. Besides, it's good to have SOMETHING that works against smugglers.

I haven't played Elite Dangerous since just after Horizons came out. I've been thinking about getting back into the game but I was a little burnt out on how dull things were feeling. What's been going on in updates, community events, and Diamond Frog activities since?

Rank progression has really slowed down. I feel like it took 6 hours of play to go from halfway through Knight to Lord (a mere 50% of rank) I just need one more rank but it looks like it's going to be a LONG road. and that's just for the Clipper.

Why are the rewards for the Federation side higher than the rewards for the Empire side? Oh yeah, predetermines the winner in player driven events.

Is there a site I can input information about a system and it'll give me a list of systems that fit that? Specifically, I'm trying to find a High Tech system in a boom state in Empire Space. It'd be nice to have such a tool for future scenarios as well.

I think Frontier reduced my Modular Terminal chance to 0. I've been refreshing boards for HOURS without seeing any as a reward. Various High tech systems in boom states. Other systems where I'm allied with everyone AND in a boom state. Currently at Ross 1015 because of a tip from a goon with three factions in a boom state and he already got his Modular Terminals there. NONE.

It's not just that either. Anything that requires scumming the mission board. Trying to contact Marco Qwent? Better scum the mission board once you have met all the requirements. Why is this a thing at all? It's terrible game design.
