Honestly, I make money faster and more reliably doing the Road to Riches than bounty hunting in high or haz res zones. And I am super eager to make money fast so I can go and do other neat stuff.

The rest of the game outside of that is honestly really boring, and there are a lot of people who feel like it could be improved. If there was another game like it this that had been released where the making money part was actually fun I'd abandon Elite in a heartbeat. I figure a good number of folks are in the same boat. So it shouldn't be too surprising that a lot of people are both sticking around and complaining about how the progression in this game is a lot of time for little satisfaction.
