The laser ring is extremely dumb. They can make the same point about him letting his guard down and not have it be stupid as hell by having Frieza cheap shot him with his finger laser. Have it happen while Bulma distracts him or something.

When I first saw Beerus I though he would be awful and thought his design sucked. Now I think he's great and his design owns. I am glad he exists.

The anime to date is great and both the manga version and original webcomic version are fully translated and pretty short overall so it's worth. It's fantastic.

The Super manga said something along the lines of this, paraphrasing: Goku: "woah, you look like a Fat Beerus, are you going to fight? who's tougher" Vados: "One look at them should be enough to figure that out" Goku: "Oh, and you look like Whis, are you stronger than him?" Vados: "A bit." Whis: "u wot m8?"

The TV series did draw out Beerus vs Goku a lot more, out of necessity to pad out the series more than anything. The fight's not so drawn out in the movie, and Goku doesn't really keep pulling out more excuses to drag the fight out so I'd recommend checking that version out if you didn't enjoy this one.

Giving Vegeta an episode or half of one to beat on Frieza instead of it basically being one punch and then Frieza bitch shots the planet would be a marked improvement. I don't think the Goku vs F part needs extending so when they do so I hope it's inventive at least but Vegeta's part of RoF will be improved by padding. ... So I bet they won't actually do it.
