Kengai Princess, about a shy, plain looking girl and her issues. Pretty standard shojo, but the main character makes it.

The only thing I know about the violinist of hameln is the SNES platformer where you played as the violinist and made the girl use ridiculous costumes with special powers to work like a kirby sidekick. There's ostrich, moon fish, curling puck, UFO and even an atom bomb costume that exploded and killed everything besides the playable chars.

So someone made a manga that's basically Dungeon Keeper, and man do I love that game. It has an evil dungeon keeper and his assistant. He's building a dungeon to conquer the world and must protect his dungeon core from hero attacks.

It has digger imps, just like DK:

invading heroes:

Also just like in the game, some creatures won't coexist peacefully:

Ok, now why I don't actually recommend it. It's a harem porn with sex scenes in basically every chapter, and that mostly takes front and center instead of the interesting setting. Why would you do this to me, Japan?

If he actually was doing it to finance other projects, this would have been a terrible idea. He's now a victim of his own success and just like toriyama will never be allowed to do anything else. And if he does nobody will care.

No, he actively used the leverage he had with the prison school sales to get Devil Blues published in a new magazine years after the fact.

Devil Blues rules its the closest I'd say a manga comes to a classic magical realist narrative.

Is he writing new chapters? Because if not, it only means he's making more money off his older works, which doesnt really diminish his love of talking asses.

Judging the author's love of western culture, I could almost believe prison high school was written with influences and the same level of self awareness as 80's "teen" comedies like Porky's, but I might be reading too much into it.

This one just popped up kissmanga, it looks amazing and the plot seems to be interesting, if rather mysterious right now at 2 chapters:

It seems to be a single dad manga where the dad is a Golem and the daughter is a (very rare) human travelling in disguise in a land of monsters.

Pretty drat good War/Scifi manga, the art looks straight out of MGS concept art which is just perfect for such a militaristic focused theme.

After fleeing earth, the first wave of settlers of a new planet have to fight off the technologically superior and better equipped second wave of settlers who want to conquer the planet to themselves.

The first settlers main weapon (and the only way they have of standing a fighting chance) is the living planet itself and its lifeforms, capable of instant teleportation to almost any place in the world, a massive tactical advantage. They take control of this teleportation by having women gestate a "transfer organ" genetically infused with alien DNA with a similar gestation time of a baby, which grants the teleportation powers to the women after special training. A major plot point is the mystery around what this transfer organ really is. It has a female author so the pregnancy and pregnant soldiers theme is handled with the sensibility it deserves.

Sesuji wo Pin! to ~Shikakou Kyougi Dance-bu e Youkoso~ is the uplifting and goofy shounen sports manga about ballroom dance that is written by the author of noted psychological comics Molester Man and Onani Master Kurosawa. It's a really fun look at competitive dancesport that I have been enjoying a lot, especially since the translations started up again. The art is great, it's pretty goofy and silly, and yet it does also grasp a lot of mindset of the people involved really well, particularly the main character and his partner, who are each small, timid kids who are learning confidence from ridiculous (yet not unrealistic) ballroom dancing.

How does it stack up to ballroom e youkoso? that's the golden standard for ballroom dancing manga.
