My one curiosity about Law's crew is what role Jean Bart is going to play. It was such a neat moment at Sabaody when Law recruited the newly freed JB, I'm hoping Oda has something planned for him within the Heart Pirates. This chapter was a perfect example of what I love about One Piece, though. Weeble is hilarious and frightening, and Zou raises so many questions and possibilities. This arc is going to be awesome.

Chopper could pick up the mink electric power to utilize in surgery, and also to use in battle seeing as Nami will never get a real fight again so the electric power slot is open.

Brook might be my second favorite StrawHat behind Franky. He's got such a good backstory, his powers are awesome, and skull jokes are great. I'm glad Sanji decided to take him along to meet Capone last chapter, if the other crew members think he's strong that's Oda saying he'll get more fights in the future.

I think that makes sense, actually. From what we've seen in the New World you need to adapt to the Yonkou's game to survive. Capone was a top-tier captain who's now, for all intents and purposes, a random mook on Big Mom's crew.

Skypiea and the Davy Back Fight were so much better on my second read-through. Skypiea is the first big adventure for the core crew post-Alabasta, and the DBF is much needed levity between Enel and Water 7.

Skypiea is very good, Dressrosa was a huge letdown if only because it turned Doflamingo into a punchman boss fight when the rest of the story built him up as a calculating strategic enemy. That being said, the Gear Fourth announcement panel is one of the most hype panels in the entire series.
