the lions response to this has been beyond pathetic and this is shaping up to be one hell of a lovely season

A good response from Mike Valenti on the organizations handling of the situation.

From Detroit sports media gadfly Jeff Moss...

Martha Ford and her two daughters are running the team as something to do, Bill Ford Jr. is out of the organization.

I hope to hell there's no truth behind this. But really how much is an owner going to affect the day to day when you've already got a CEO etc in place?

Bill Ford Jr's great accomplishments:

- Being born a Ford.
- Realizing he is so far out of his depth at fixing Ford he let someone competent take over.
- Acknowledging that Matt Millen sucks.

Compared to Bill Ford Sr's great accomplishments:

- Being born a Ford.

Come on Lions, don't draft skills positions all the time...maybe some O-line?

They drafted a guard in the first round this year!

But he's having a difficult time cracking the starting line up :(

Yes.

No. It looked like they could after Rodgers went out after loving his calf up even more but Detroit was never in the lead all game.

We were tied in the 2nd half!!!

That's a pretty big deal for the Lions playing at Green Bay.
