What a sleazeball. Edit: for all the problems with the second half of the game I'm real glad they didn't skimp on the cutscenes. They're still top notch. Cassets + Side Missions 5 Doing side missions is a real pain, it took way too long to get these recorded. Also turns out the wacky glitch customization possibilities were rolled into online only research options.

Chapter 45 Knocking out our final total stealth mission. I also show off the guard dialogue regarding boxes. Side missions is going really slow... I swear, that little jingle that plays as you fly into a map is going to be played at my funeral. They'll play it as I get dropped into the grave.

So hey sorry about delays... again.. I know I sound like a broken record. I have the remaining extreme/subsistence missions recorded and edited, I just need to do commentary. But recently my house was broken into and I've been fortifying my house in case the person comes back as they didn't steal anything this time and I'm convinced they'll try again. Besides that I've become too paranoid to sit down and do commentary in the event I get too absorbed in it and the person decides to come back I wont hear it. I actually got an early shift today so I'll be commentating and uploading video 46 tonight and that should be posted tomorrow. I've also got the next 2 days off so I can commentate and upload 47 and 48, and ideally my security cameras will come in Tuesday so I can be at ease in the night.

If you kill Quiet the cutscenes that feature her just don't happen, and mission 45 doesn't happen. Chapter 50 Final Cassettes + Side Missions Holy poo poo guys we're done, we're finished! A year and a half later I've finally finished! I'm glad you all kept with me over this time, I don't blame anyone for moving on with my sporadic update schedule. This was definitely a learning experience for me, I learned LPs aren't as easy as people think. Also I see why people quit their jobs to do them, in spite of it being a terrible economic decision. I've learned for future LPs, don't do the blind thing, don't try to do the first impression thing, just record a majority of the game. As in all of it. I'll keep the thread open for a bit to discuss the ending, go wild guys!

The story of Metal Gear, it seems to me, is a series of people's overly convoluted plans never working out for them how they want them to - including, somehow, Kojima's own plans to make the Metal Gear series. I assume this proposed zombie game will follow through on this meta-hypothesis. Anyway, great LP! Congratulations for pushing on through the usual LP Curse that most LPers face.

As a fellow retail slave, I know your pain. In my pharmacy we have to do yearly training to remind us that we should not attack our customers or harass them.
