I would point out that Annalise is still one of the few characters left in the main cast who hasn't murdered someone, but everyone thinks she has. She's basically a human hurricane and wrecks everyone's lives that she comes into contact with, so of course she is intensely relatable for me. Even Frank, who seems to have his own motives entirely, is caught within the trap of desperately trying to receive her approval. She's the maternal figure from hell.

Annalise as the Emperor luring Luke to the dark side was pretty great. Wes getting too mad and shooting her in the guts was a much better reveal than Sam falling and getting brained last year.

Lots of good stuff in the margins tonight. Wes's mom is more interesting than Annalise's pregnancy. Bonnie seeing Sam for therapy makes that whole disaster even worse. I am done with the murder mansion and hope Phillip dies next week.

My girlfriend and I still to this day can't get over that Frank is Ben from Season 5 of Buffy, the difference is shocking. Him teetering on making that confession last night was great, I'm excited about where some of this stuff is going.

It's fun to show off that everyone involved could make a prestige drama instead of the wacky murder scheme show. I will not be happy if Frank stays gone. Michaela needs to pick better men. Wes should take his inheritance and move to a nice island.

No reason to think it's a major character but Shonda loves wiping out the JV team. Grey's had a few major deaths but when you kill a dozen doctors and family some of them have to matter. Hopefully S3's Murder Night is less of a chore than last season.
