Is SA in need of fixing? Sites come and sites go, 4chan got sold, Reddit is a big flaming mess and it is difficult to see an alternative around the corner. 90% in revenue cut, where is that number coming from? Where was the revenue coming from in the first place? I am not up to date on the current SA business model, but seems that it was not sustainable in the end. Two suggestions I have seen that should work to increase revenue: - Monthly / yearly subscription model - Donations drive (yearly?) Things to cut cost: - stop paying developers (obviously done already) - Lowtax gets another source of income - Turn of the servers Keep in mind that stopping the site when the business model is no longer valid, is always a option.
