I don't think Ronda ever said that about beating Mayweather but the following statements are true: Ronda Rousey would likely beat Floyd Mayweather in an MMA fight. Floyd Mayweather would likely beat Ronda Rousey in a boxing match. Specialisation matters. Athletics at the professional level requires years of training. Albert Pujols is one of the greatest hitters of all time, but if he's batting against Jennie Finch or Cat Osterman, his batting average will drop to about .100 if he's lucky because his body is trained to hit baseball pitchers. Bo Jackson is the exception. Bo Jackson could pick up hockey tomorrow and become one of the top 50 scorers of all time.
