This show... going back to "Life, it hates you Major." I love it. Blaine being a douche. Their super-detector power.

Although red-head best step off soon. I don't like her and want Peyton back as roomie.

I thought O- was the rare one.

:science: O+ is common. AB- is rare. If they had THAT one, it wouldn't matter anyway, as they could, in theory, take anything. But blood typing isn't just about Rh factor (+ vs -) and O, A, B, and AB. There are other little things too. The hospital never would have allowed family transfer; it's a lawsuit waiting to happen if one isn't a complete match or had a transmissible disease, since you didn't screen it.

This could probably have been handled by her mom arguing that she's never there, or somehow, make it in the past that Liv referred him to the job. But yeah, just turn off brain, watch the pretty pictures.

The showmakers have admitted that they kind of sort of based Major Lilywhite's name on Major Applewhite, the University of Texas QB back in the late 90s. OK, he had a silly name, but he was a pretty good QB.

FWIW, Applewhite is currently the offensive and QB coach for Houston, so he's doing alright for himself.

Yeah. I have a healthy respect for Applewhite, but somehow, Lilywhite sucks more as a last name. I have no idea why. Maybe it's that an apple is a good, hardy fruit while a lily is a fragile little eggshell of a flower?

Even the actor himself kind of finds humor in the name.

That gif reminds me he played Cliff McCormack on Veronica Mars. Rob Thomas likes bringing back actors from his previous shows from cameos or real parts. I'm hoping he can convince Kristen Bell to come to the show for a little. He almost had Jason Dohring (Logan Echolls) this season for an actual role as opposed to a cameo. But by then he'd agreed to his part in The Originals, so he couldn't take it.

Ravi is ridiculously attractive. He kind of makes up for the fact that Lowell is gone. Also, Liv does magic. That dress is amazing for a couple of hours worth of notice from the frat guy.

Seyfried would be a fun crossover too. Or Enrico Colantoni, you never go wrong with him.

On possible Veronica Mars actors coming in, Francis Capra had an AMA a little while back. He might be interested in doing more work with Rob Thomas. Enrico Colantoni looks like he just wrapped up his role in Person of Interest, so he'd have time too. Tina Majorino doesn't look like she had anything up; last time I saw her was a bit part in True Blood and it felt like Mac was turned into a vampire, she had the EXACT same look, attitude, and "tech skill" side-role. She deserved WAY better than that show.

Sidenote: I had no idea Teddy Dunn is a lawyer now. He is an associate at the New York branch of the international law firm Dechert LLP, focusing on general litigation matters. So I doubt he'd ever make an appearance.

On iZombie, I still thought it was pretty hosed up Major's hooking up with Gilda. She's making you kill people and threatening to kill your friend and out you to the cops. Why would you get near that? Life likes to screw over Major, but in this case, it isn't going to end well and it'll all be on him. Hope the dog isn't a casualty; that creature is adorable.

Things are looking up? Methinks he's going to lose Liv too. I mean, his hook-up is her roommate. She's bound to spill the beans. Not to mention the "Zombie Kill List" is still up, plus the kid knowing that he takes Utopium.

It's the up before the mighty crash.

It's a reference to Black Canary, but in a better, sexual euphemism sort of way.

So I don't know how to read this. Is the guy Liv saved, the now zombie, a lackey of Mr. Boss and he knows the score? Or is he working for Blaine undercover?

I thought it was implied he turned women during sex so they could serve a purpose for him with the rich lady in season one? I mean, she wasn't hooking for him, but she was using all her money to fund him and make him all human-looking and pretty.

I don't think the show creators knew this even after the first episode. "Jason Dohring originally auditioned for Duncan and Teddy Dunn read for Logan. Throughout the show, to keep fans from confusing the two characters, the stars were color-coded. Seriously — Duncan always wore blue and Logan always wore earth tones."

Wow. Ravi had ALL of the moral highground until he did that scummy thing and kissed one girl while his other one snuck out the back. Still never going to be as bad as Blaine, but with all this poo poo, Peyton should just concentrate on herself.

Also, Liv didn't get ONE useful brain-flash this episode. They're really ix-naying the procedural part of the show to focus on the overarching story.

...but they also gave me more dancing Liv.
